Cynthia K. Messemer, an equity partner with Hodges Walsh & Slater, LLP, has been a practicing attorney in the States of New York and Connecticut since 1996 and 1995, respectively, both in Federal and State Court matters.  She is a graduate of Pace University School of Law (J.D., 1995), Syracuse University School of Management (M.B.A. 1986) and Cornell University (B.S. 1983).

Ms. Messemer serves as defense counsel to a number of diverse organizations, handling primary product liability claims as they related to allegations of injury and damages pertaining to product design and manufacture, asbestos-related claims, pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical devices.  She also provides defense in relation to construction law and general negligence claims.

Prior to her affiliation with Hodges, Walsh & Slater, LLP, Ms. Messemer served as defense counsel for various companies, including national professional sports organizations and international corporations in relation to the defense of premises liability and environmental contaminant matters.

Before attaining her J.D. Ms. Messemer was employed for 6 years in the pharmaceutical industry in a marketing research capacity relative to new product launches, brand marketing, market projections, advertising and product development.
