  • George Hodges has been selected by IADC President, Joseph Ryan, to serve as Dean of the Corporate Counsel College in 2013. George will serve as Assistant Dean in 2012 and is presently a member of the Advisory Board of the Corporate Counsel College.

  • Associate Leicia Grant is serving a one year period of active duty as a U.S. Army Captain with the Judge Advocate General's Corp. She is currently serving as trial counsel to the 10th Combat Aviation Brigade at Fort Drum, New York and is expected to be deployed to Afghanistan later in the year.

  • George Hodges served as moderator of a program examining The In-house/outside counsel partnership at the IADC Corporate Counsel College in April 2010. Among the panelist were Sharon A. Luarde of Electrolux North America; Maria Wood Long of CaroMont Health/Gaston Memorial Hospital; and Sandra VanDerVaart of Laboratory Corporation of America.

  • George Hodges recently presented a Webinar program along with John T. Lay, Esq. of Columbia, South Carolina. The topic was Deposing the Expert Witness and was produced through the International Association of Defense Counsel.

  • Our Fourth Annual Golf Outing was conducted at the Mansion Ridge Golf Club in Monroe, New York on May 29, 2010. More than 50 golfers participated and approximately 75 friends of the office took part in the dinner that followed.

  • George S. Hodges recently served as Chairperson of the Nominating Committee at the Annual Meeting of the International Association of Defense Counsel at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado. George served as President of the IADC in 2004-2005.

  • Amanda Hedrick, a third year student at the University of Virginia School of Law, recently completed her second year of service as a summer intern with the office. Amanda, a graduate of NYU with a BA in politics, was a significant and welcome asset to the office and we wish her well in the upcoming school year.
